Andrew Szarejko is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Cincinnati. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Government at Georgetown University in 2020. His research interests lie at the intersection of U.S. Foreign Policy and Indigenous Politics, and he teaches courses in International Relations and Comparative Politics. His academic work has been published in the Journal of Global Security Studies and PS: Political Science and Politics, and his public-facing work has been published in outlets like Indian Country TodayThe Duck of Minerva, and War on the Rocks. He also serves as the teaching editor for H-Diplo, in which capacity he curates and maintains open-access teaching resources relevant to instructors of International Relations and Diplomatic History.
