Casey Mahoney is a PhD candidate in the University of Pennsylvania political science department writing a dissertation on alliance politics, military strategy, and emerging technology as a Predoctoral Fellow at the Clements Center for National Security at the University of Texas at Austin for 2022-23. His prior experience includes government service in the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Policy) and research positions at the RAND Corporation, U.S. Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, and the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey's Center for Nonproliferation Studies.
