Chaplain (Lieutenant Colonel-Promotable) Billy Graham grew up on the banks of the Ohio River in Huntington, West Virginia.  He received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Divinity from Grace College and Theological Seminary, Winona Lake, Indiana and a Doctorate of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Hamilton, Massachusetts.  He is ordained and endorsed by Charis Fellowship, formerly known as the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches.

He entered the Army in 1994, serving in the Indiana National Guard as a Chaplain Assistant. He entered active duty as an Army Chaplain in 2003, assigned to 561st Corps Support Battalion, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, deploying twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  His other assignments include 25th Transportation Battalion and IMCOM, Korea; 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Irwin, California; 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, deploying to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom; Readiness Center, US Army Institute for Religious Leadership; Office of the Chief of Chaplains, Pentagon; and III Armored Corps, Fort Hood, Texas.

His military education includes Chaplain Assistant Advanced Individual Training, Chaplain Officer Basic Course, Chaplain Captain Career Course, Command and General Staff College, How the Army Runs Course, Red Team Leader Course, Defense Strategy Course, and currently serving as an Army War College Fellow at the University of Notre Dame.

His awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (5 Oak Leaf Cluster), the Army Commendation Medal (2 Oak Leaf Cluster), and numerous awards, campaign and service medals. He also received the Army Chaplain Corps Branch Award, The Order of Saint Martin.

Chaplain Graham is married to the former Robin DeVries of Grand Rapids, Michigan.  They have three children, all married, and 10 grandchildren.  Chaplain Graham enjoys travel, but mostly for the purpose of spending time with the grandkids.  His hobbies include coin collecting, military history and genealogy.
