Elly Rostoum is a former U.S. intelligence analyst and is currently a Lecturer in Global Security Studies at Johns Hopkins University. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Global Governance and Human Security at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, where she specializes in economic statecraft as grand strategy applied to the Chinese model, and vulnerabilities posed by foreign investment in the technology, privacy, and financial sectors on American national security.
