I am a PhD candidate in History at American University, where I specialize in late imperial Russia and the history of strategic thought. My dissertation is a comprehensive study on the concept of grand strategy and consists of historical and theoretical essays exploring the subject from disparate perspectives—intellectual history, ontology, epistemology, historiographical methods, and pedagogy.
