Yu Aoki is currently the Innovative Approaches to Grand Strategy Post-doctoral Fellow at the Notre Dame International Security Center. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science at The Graduate Center, City University of New York in 2022. His research explores how states identify adversaries and assess their intentions to use force.
