Wendy Wagner

Wendy Wagner is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of California, San Diego. She holds MA degrees in Political Science (UCSD, 2021) and in Governance, Diplomacy and Conflict Studies (Reichman University, 2019). Her research focuses on international security, political violence, and the strategic interactions between armed nonstate actors and the state. Her dissertation examines why and how some states and armed rebel organizations can coexist while others cannot.
Wendy is an alumna of the joint Summer Workshop on the Analysis of Military Operations (SWAMOS) and the inaugural Peace Science Rising Scholars Workshop.
