Alex Yu-Ting Lin is a Research Fellow with the International Security Program at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, Harvard University, and a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Southern California. He studies how concerns for status and prestige motivate great power competition, with a focus on US-China relations and security and economic affairs of Asia.
